I wish I had a River

Whenever I sit still in a quiet place for a tiny moment, close my eyes and take a deep breath, and search deep deep within, it only brings me to tears.

So I refuse to allow myself to think when I'm lying in bed, but keep the dvds playing until my eyes decide when I should shut them.

Now I know why some people are so glued to the television and all the junk drama serials. It keeps them distracted from their silent surrounding, keeps their minds constantly wandering, instead of wondering.

I am watching the entire season 1-5 of Ally McBeal on repeat. This is one of my favourite scenes from one of my favourite episodes. Sarah McLachlan sings "River" beautifully but Robert Downer Jr plays and sings it with such acute emotions.
